So the MRI is in and our suspicions were confirmed my is partially torn. Wooo Hooo! For me – no not really :( So I wait for the “specialist” to get back to my family doctor with next steps. Next steps could be a simple scope procedure or possibly an operation to rectify the ACL. I am told the specialist will take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to get back to us with his recommendation – WOW! Physiotherapy has help a lot and most if not all the swelling has finally subsided. Though I am not sure if its going to help much further given that I know the ACL is torn and needs repair. Anyone aware of a really go sports physio (accredited) location in Toronto please feel free to leave me the details.
