Having uploaded some pictures from my India trip I could not help but drool over the one with Calcutta Rasgullas (or Roshogolla, as Bengali’s prefer to call it) in it! I’m in heaven and can’t wait till my next India sweet fix.

Fish Market

This fish market (muchlee bazaar) is located on the curb of a main intersection in Bandra, Bombay. Fisher Ladies (As we call them in India) carry the morning’s catch in a wicket basket to various locations in Bandra.

The Fish Buying Process:

You walk up to a fisher lady ask her if she has the type of fish you want to eat and if she does you proceed to haggle for the best deal possible. You see mostly women shopping at these locations given that they tend to do the cooking within families.

There is nothing like some freshly fried fish with an India kingfisher beer!!!

CTV.ca | Air India judge begins reading his decision

It has taken nearly 15 years for a judgment to be passed on this case… Talk about a Joke! The Canadian Secret Service investigating this terrorist bombing bungled up the entire process and should be fired and replaced with NOTHING…

I heard two family members speak on CBC radio today and even after 15 years they are so calm and civilized about the whole event and the way it was handled by the Canadian Government.

I send them strength and courage on this crucial day.
