As soon as they have seen me with crutches, one crutch or on my cane as of the last few days they have immediately lowered the height of the bus so that getting on and off would be easier. Never once did I have to ask for their assistance and they were always very attentive. Good job folks – Mr. Lobo thanks you for making my handicap life a little easier over the last four weeks.

Overall they were happy with the healing of my cuts and the reduction in swelling around my knee and ankle. The doctor wants me off my crutches and walking as soon as possible.

I have a referral to a Physiotherapist and need to get that booked and set-up for September. The pain still exists and the Doc says it could be various things causing it (I think it’s the screws they have drilled into my tibia and femur to secure the tendon!).

The highlight of the appointment was the removal of my staples – I saw stars even though I had taken two pain killers a hour before. I have never seen a Nurse laugh that much as she was taking staples out… I guess I was saying something to her that was fun or she was just laughing at my weak pain threshold!
