Ben Fogle and James Cracknell – TV presenter and Olympic champion took part in a 2005 Atlantic Rowing Race. Their boat capsized 700 miles from the finish, hit by a rogue wave during the race. They still came in 3rd overall. They have booth gone on to compete in other international racing events since.
