Women With Backpacks In The Subway
Ok so as some of you know I take the TTC (the better way!) in to work as it’s faster and paid for by my company but what you don’t know about is the deadly trend taking place all over the Toronto TTC – Women who wear backpacks entering crammed TTC cars who then proceed to give you the stare down when you bump into the backpack which is on their bloody shoulders or keep staring you down every time the TTC car breaks (like someone jumped in front of it! ) and you brush up againsit the “backpack”.
I normally travel during the peek hours which are 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and so the cars are filled to the brim and there is no place to move once in. I had this girl look at me through the reflection of the window to check if I was stealing her bag contents… While this little drama was taking place all I could ask for was that God get me of the sardine filled hell hole as fast as possible and give that woman in front of me some commonsense!
A few solutions to women who do this:
- Do not travel at peek hours
- Leave your frigging backpacks at home
- Yes in a filled TTC car people will bump up against your backpack on your shoulders you moron!
- Leave your backpack at home
- I some rare cases stop carrying your entire wardrobe/makeup paraphernalia with you
- No not every guy behind your backpack is getting off by rubbing against it!
- You cannot tell if someone has taken something from your backpack by looking into the reflection of the window (pisss… small tip, the bag is on your shoulders not in front of you)
