In India you can still get candles made by hand. This was a picture taken walking down the steps of a famous Bandra land mark – Mount Marry’s Church which lies situated at a top of a hill that over looks the Arabian sea.
The candles are made to sell at the foot of the Church by local vendors. The candles are crafted into various shapes, sizes and body parts. Devotees buy these candles and place them at the alter of the Church to have their prayers and petitions answered.
My statement was not meant to be demeaning, nor was I trying to poke fun at India. The statement was the truth and I have a picture to back it up. Hand made products are considered to be of a lot more value than factory processed material so why not point it out? You take offense without stating why…
